GOD

There is one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

THE BIBLE

The Bible is God’s Word.

JESUS THE SON OF GOD

John 1:1; Acts 1:9-11; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Revelation 20:6

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He was crucified, died, and was buried. He rose from the dead and ascended into heaven, where He remains at the right hand of God.

SALVATION

Luke 24:47; I Peter 1:18-19; Romans 10:9-10

Salvation is through the blood of Jesus and calling on His name.

BAPTISM AND COMMUNION

Matthew 28:19; 1 Corinthians 11:24-30

Water Baptism in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and Communion are to be observed by the church today.

HEALING

Matthew 8:17; 1 Peter 2:24; James 5:14-15

God provides divine healing through prayer and laying on of hands.

THE HOLY SPIRIT

Acts 1:4-8; 2:38-39

The baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.

THE RAPTURE

Titus 2:13; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

The church will be raptured and there will be a second coming of Jesus Christ.

WHAT DOES AGAPE MEAN?

Good Question! We get that all the time. The word “Agape”, pronounced /äˈgäˌpā/, is from the Greek language. It means “God’s perfect love”- a love that seeks the highest and best for you! We desire for each person who steps foot into our church to experience that Agape kind of love!

MISSION

Together we are a community of believers. We believe that together in fellowship we grow closer to God and one another. The Bible speaks about iron sharpening iron. We believe that together we grow stronger. 

VISION

We strive to be a church without walls. Jesus calls for us to go outside the walls to reach the lost and the broken. It is there that the lost will be found. We make an effort to be like the church from the Book of Acts, to see our city changed. Our vision at Agape Life Church is “to help people grow into passionate followers of Jesus Christ.”

VALUES

We value the Word of God and the leadership of the Holy Spirit. We highly value our relationships with one another. We look to grow through fellowship and ultimately growing closer to God. We look to extend grace to all of the lost and broken, and lead those with no hope to the hope of Jesus Christ.
